WHO WE ARE
Our vision at CCH is to be a community on campus empowering students to impact the world for Christ. We are excited about your interest in this ministry that is seeking to bring students together, invest in their lives, equip them to serve, and then mobilize them into personal ministry.
We love to describe ourselves as a family. One who loves one another and seeks to extend that love to those around us. As a family, we desire to encourage one another to engage the world we live in. Our Rep Group, who we hope you will take the time to learn more about, have come up with a vision called "ILLUMINATE". It's all about walking in the God’s light. To walk in His light, we must gather in it with fellow believers, pursue Him continually, and shine His light everywhere we go. So we hope you will join us as part of this big family and get involved here at the Christian Campus House at Trine University.
If you check out our Events page, you’ll find that we are constantly doing something that you can get involved in! On our Connect page, you can find a number of different opportunities to get plugged in and begin growing in your faith. You will have chances to worship, be fed by the word, grow spiritually with other students, and serve others on campus.

TRAVIS WILHELM - LEAD CAMPUS MINISTER
I am a proud alumnus of Trine University. My wife, Cheryl, and I both graduated in 1999 with engineering degrees. I studied Administrative Engineering with a concentration in Civil Engineering (they don't offer this degree any more) and Cheryl studied Chemical Engineering. We both served as the first CCH Interns and I came on staff in 2000 as the Associate Campus Minister. The following year I took over as the Lead Campus Minister and it has been an honor and privilege to serve the Lord here at CCH and watch God transform hundreds of lives ever since. Cheryl and I have five amazing children (Isaac, Heidi, Emily, Caleb, and Lydia) that love investing in students lives. In my free time I enjoy watching or playing any sports, working with my hands, and working out. Don't let the wrinkles and gray hair fool you, I am really a big kid down deep and would enjoy hanging out with you and getting to know each other better.
JESSICA ALLEN - ASSOCIATE MINISTER FOR WOMEN
In May of 2016, I graduated from Trine with a degree in Accounting and Finance. In June, I came on staff as the Women’s Ministry Coordinator/Administrative Assistant. In this role, I have the pleasure of overseeing women’s ministry, which includes working alongside the Women’s Leadership Team and Women’s SWAT Teams, hanging out with ladies one-on-one, planning and hosting events, leading Freshmen Girls Group, as well as helping out with various administrative tasks around the office. I love meeting and hanging out with ladies, and I’m so grateful that part of my job is doing just that! Having met as students at Trine, my husband Eric and I were married in September of 2016, and we absolutely love serving on campus alongside one another. In my free time, I enjoy reading, running, Netflix, laughing with Eric, and hanging out with friends. If you have any questions, need anything, or just want to hang out, feel free to contact me!
KAYLE JOHNSON - ASSOCIATE MINISTER OF OUTREACH AND COMMUNICATION
I graduated from Trine in May 2021, earning my Bachelor’s in Business Administration and Master’s in Organizational Leadership. I joined the staff in 2020 as a Ministry Intern, and following graduation, transitioned into the role of Associate Minister of Outreach and Communication. In this position, I work closely with CCH’s social media and publicity, women’s ministry, and worship. People, music, and coffee are my passions. You’ll typically find me with a group of people, drinking a cup of coffee and playing guitar. Outside of that, I like to channel my inner competitor on the disc golf course and any other sport I can get my hands on. All of that being said, I love getting to know people. So, whether that’s over a cup off coffee, in the studio, or playing sports, let’s hang out!
IKE SHEEHAN - ASSOCIATE MINISTER FOR ATHLETES
I joined the staff after graduating from Trine in 2021 with a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering. I am the Associate Campus Minister to Athletes because my goal is to do ministry on sports teams here at Trine University. As a student, I spent 4 years as a kicker on the Trine Football team and 2 years on the Track and Field team, so I have a heart for athletes and love getting to connect with them. I help oversee the FCA chapter at Trine, which has been a really fun part of ministry for me. I also help organize our Tuesday Night Worship services and love singing and playing drums, both for worship services and on my own in my free time. Please contact me if you want to know more about anything regarding worship or athletic ministry, or if you just want to hang out and talk about life.
LANCE WILLIAMSON - ASSOCIATE CAMPUS MINISTER
I graduated in May 2022, earning my Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering with minors in Environmental Engineering and Sports Psychology. I was involved in the ministry and was a part of Rep Group, Men’s SWAT, Men’s Events, serving on mission trips, etc. I was a founder of the XC Reading Group as well as BEMA Trine. I also participated in cross country and track and field. I am now serving as the Assistant Campus Minister working with athletics, Greek Life, alumni, and other miscellaneous tasks. I love discipleship and building connections with people. I like to pair that with one of my other favorite things, which is coffee. Other things that I enjoy include Biblical studies, reading, video games, running, ultimate frisbee, disc golf, golf, spikeball, multitasking, and staying up late but getting up early. As I said before, I love people! So, feel free to reach out to me, let’s grab coffee or do something together!
MATTHEW DECKER – MINISTRY INTERN
I graduated from Trine in 2023 with a Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering. Realizing God’s calling to ministry leading into my senior year, I took that year as an opportunity to explore what that looks like and found myself investing in and leading small groups like SWAT and BEMA, as well as teaching in workshops and sermons. I have been blessed with opportunities to serve as Ministry Intern both with CCH and Pleasant View Church of Christ, allowing me to further develop those ministries as well as experience ministry in the field and explore different pathways before going on to seminary. I’m excited for this next year and the many amazing and unexpected ways God is sure to pull me in! I love diving into the intricacies of God’s Word, disc golfing, video games, cooking, and spending time with people. is our Event Coordinator who plans the details, especially food, and helps prepare for our various events on campus.
MARIE SMITH
is the Bookkeeper for the ministry, taking care of behind the scenes financial details to make sure ministry can run smoothly.
AUSTIN FARLEY
is our Maintenance Coordinator, he keeps our houses and property functioning well and looking nice for ministry to take place here.
