WHO WE ARE
WHO WE ARE
Our vision at CCH is to be a community on campus empowering students to impact the world for Christ. We are excited about your interest in this ministry that is seeking to bring students together, invest in their lives, equip them to serve, and then mobilize them into personal ministry.
We love to describe ourselves as a family. One who loves one another and seeks to extend that love to those around us. As a family, we desire to encourage one another to engage the world we live in. Our Rep Group, who we hope you will take the time to learn more about, have come up with a vision called "ILLUMINATE". It's all about walking in the God’s light. To walk in His light, we must gather in it with fellow believers, pursue Him continually, and shine His light everywhere we go. So we hope you will join us as part of this big family and get involved here at the Christian Campus House at Trine University.
If you check out our Events page, you’ll find that we are constantly doing something that you can get involved in! On our Connect page, you can find a number of different opportunities to get plugged in and begin growing in your faith. You will have chances to worship, be fed by the word, grow spiritually with other students, and serve others on campus.
We hope you’ll check us out on our social media and download our ‘CCH Trine’ app, available on Apple and Android devices. We don’t want you to miss a single opportunity to come together, hang out, and grow with the family.
If you have any questions, contact us or stop by the CCH House. We look forward to meeting you soon!

I am a proud alumnus of Trine University. My wife, Cheryl, and I both graduated in 1999 with engineering degrees. I studied Administrative Engineering with a concentration in civil engineering (they don't offer this degree any more) and Cheryl studied Chemical Engineering. We both served as the first CCH Interns and I came on staff in 2000 as the Associate Campus Minister. The following year I took over as the Lead Campus Minister and it has been an honor and privilege to serve the Lord here at CCH and watch God transform hundreds of lives ever since. Cheryl and I have five amazing children (Isaac, Heidi, Emily, Caleb, and Lydia) that love investing in students lives. In my free time I enjoy watching or playing any sports, working with my hands, and working out. Don't let the wrinkles and gray hair fool you, I am really a big kid down deep and would enjoy hanging out with you and getting to know each other better.
I graduated from Trine in May 2021, earning my B.S in Business Administration and my M.S in Organizational Leadership. I joined the CCH staff in 2020 as a Ministry Intern and transitioned into my role as the Associate Minister of Outreach and Communication following graduation. Typically, you’ll find me with a coffee, guitar, or camera in hand (sometimes all three – which is a sight to see, trust me) – so I am blessed to work closely with our worship and media teams around CCH. Beyond that, I love to spend time outdoors, reading, channeling my inner competitor, and supporting my beloved Detroit Lions with my family. Whether you want to talk music or anything in the creative realm, try out a good coffee shop in the area, or strike up a good competition, I’d love to hang out!
I joined the staff after graduating from Trine in 2021 with a B.S in Electrical Engineering. I am the Associate Campus Minister to Athletes because my goal is to do ministry on sports teams here at Trine University. As a student, I spent 4 years as a kicker on the Trine Football team and 2 years on the Track and Field team, so I have a heart for athletes and love getting to connect with them. I help oversee the FCA chapter at Trine, which has been a really fun part of ministry for me. I also help organize our Tuesday Night Worship services and love singing and playing drums, both for worship services and on my own in my free time. Please contact me if you want to know more about anything regarding worship or athletic ministry, or if you just want to hang out and talk about life!
I graduated in May 2022 from Trine, earning my B.S in Civil Engineering with minors in environmental engineering and sport psychology. As a student, I was an athlete on the cross country and tracks teams and was involved in the ministry by serving on Rep Group, men’s discipleship, and mission trips. In addition, I founded the XC reading group and BEMA Trine. I currently serve as the Associate Campus Minister focusing on discipleship and small group ministry and as an assistant coach for cross country and track. I’m passionate about God’s Word, teaching and preaching, and Biblical Studies. Which led me to earn my M.A in Biblical Languages from Liberty University in May 2025! I love discipleship and building connections with people, and I like pairing that with one of my favorite things – coffee. Other than that, I enjoy reading, video games, running, ultimate frisbee, disc golf, spikeball, and multitasking. As I said before, I love people! So let’s grab coffee or do something together!
I graduated from Trine in May 2021, earning my B.S and M.S in Business Administration. During my time as a student, I was involved with CCH through Freshmen Girls’ Group, women’s discipleship, women’s small groups, and I lived at the Girls’ House. After working for a small manufacturing company for several years, I joined the staff in 2024 as an Office Administrator on a part-time basis and in May 2025, I moved into the role of Associate Minister for Women, where I can minister to the women on Trine’s campus through mentorship and discipleship. In my free time, I enjoy chasing my daughter Parker around the house, working on home improvement projects with my husband Eli, and sewing or cross-stitch if I get the chance to sit down. If you are interested in women’s ministry or want to hang out with my one-year-old, reach out! I would love to chat while on a walk or grabbing some iced coffee!
I graduated from Trine University in May 2025 with both my B.S and M.S in Business Administration. During my four years as a student, I was heavily involved in CCH as a notable member of the Guys’ House, serving on the worship team, and leading a men’s small group. I also joined the Men’s Volleyball team with one of my roommates! Throughout my time as student in CCH, I felt a growing desire to pursue campus ministry full-time and I am beyond excited to now serve as a Campus Ministry Intern – continuing to build relationships, create community, and share His love with students. I’m super outgoing and always down for an adventure. You’ll usually find me with friends, trying something new – whether that’s traveling, camping, classic cars, or checking out a restaurant or coffee shop, I’m always up for something! Feel free to reach out anytime!
Currently, I am finishing up my B.S in Exercise Science here at Trine (which I’ll wrap up in December 2025) while interning as the Women’s Ministry Intern. I’m passionate about encouraging others in both physical health and spiritual growth, and I’m excited to see those two come together more as I finish my education and intern here! Throughout my time as a student, I have enjoyed serving on Rep Group in women’s discipleship and on the set-up team for Tuesday Night Worship. In my free time, I love running, biking, swimming, and spending time outdoors. If you are ever in need of a listening ear, some coffee and a chat, a running buddy, or someone to go snow skiing with, reach out to me or come find me around CCH!

Marie has a campus ministry history dating back to the 90’s when she served on our Board of Directors as Secretary and Treasurer. She served in the role for a period of five years and returned in April 2006 in a new role to manage the ministry’s finances. Over the years, Marie has seen how God continues to bless and flourish the Christian Campus House through a focus in outreach, student Bible studies, and students taking their knowledge to their communities. Marie may work behind the scenes but her heart for college students is grand!
